In a Premier League matchup between two top American defenders in Antonee Robinson and Chris Richards, it was Richards and Crystal Palace who emerged victorious.
Richards and secured a massive 2-0 upset over Robinson's Fulham at Craven Cottage, pushing the Whites down to ninth while Palace moves up to 13th after the result.
Joachim Andersen gifted Palace the advantage with an own goal in the 37th minute to give the visitors a 1-0 lead. After that mistake from the defender, Palace bunkered down and waited for counterattack opportunities. Despite having just 38 percent of possession, the club would seal its win with a Daniel Munoz strike that was assisted by Jean-Philippe Mateta.

Richards was tied for GOAL's highest-rated player of the match, with a 7.8 rating. The American defender put in a shift with six clearances, two tackles, and 76.9 percent passing.
Robinson was solid with a 6.6 rating, having five clearances, connecting on one cross, and completing 84.2 percent of his passes.
