According to a report from in Italy, Kean has turned down offers from Saudi Pro League clubs Al-Hilal and Al-Qadsiah. The Italian forward and his agent have decided to prioritise staying in Europe, with Fiorentina now initiating discussions to extend his contract before the expiry of his €52 million (£44m/$56m) release clause on Tuesday.

Kean’s rejection of the Saudi Arabia offers comes amid interest from Manchester United and other European sides. Fiorentina, keen to retain the 25-year-old, are preparing a contract renewal offer that would increase his annual salary from €2.2m to €4m while removing any release clause in the new deal. Kean had previously been offered €20m (£17m/$21m) per year by Al-Hilal.
