The rivalry between Crystal Palace and Watford is not hugely significant, but there is a level of tension that is rising.
It appears that Watford’s mascot ‘Harry the Hornet’ has got himself in Roy Hodgson’s bad books.
During his pre-match press conference, the Palace manager described the mascot as “disgraceful” for diving in front of Wilfried Zaha during a 1-1 draw in Boxing Day in 2016.

Hodgson added that antics such as this “should be stopped” as it is likely to provoke the crowd.
The two teams go head to head at Vicarage Road on Sunday afternoon, with Zaha likely to be in the first XI.
Over the last few seasons, the Ivory Coast international has picked up a reputation for diving, which Hodgson clearly believes is unfair.

Bizarrely, eyes are likely to be on ‘Harry the Hornet’ during the Premier League match, and some Palace fans have been tweeting their thoughts on the situation.
