Every Everton fan was willing Seamus Coleman back to fitness following his horror leg break last year.
The right-back managed to recover, but in the early stages of this season, not every supporter has been convinced by his performances.
Now it seems that the 29-year-old is set for a stint on the sidelines after withdrawing from the Republic of Ireland squad with a foot injury.
The Liverpool Echo reports that Coleman is now a doubt for Everton’s Premier League match against West Ham United on Sunday.
If so, the exclusion is likely to pave the way for Jonjoe Kenny, who has made 28 appearances for the Toffees in total, creating two assists.
The 21-yer-old has been on the fringes ever since he made his first-team debut in 2014.

Kenny was developed in Everton’s academy, and judging by the conversations on Twitter regarding Coleman’s injury, plenty of fans are keen for the young right-back to feature against West Ham this weekend.
